While we open our hearts the best we know how and get on our knees and give up and take up to experience something even closely resembling the suffering of Christ, these brothers and sisters are walking the walk. I am broken hearted and at the same time praising God for salvation that means they will be in His presence soon...

I take Christ for granted. It is so easy to pray, to talk to others about Him, to go to church in this country that I forget that others are not only struggling but DYING for Him. Thank you for this post and waking me up.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't wish this situation on anyone! But it's so easy to take our faith, and the freedom to practice it, completely for granted. A good wake-up call!
